NIH awards $1.7M to the Tao Lab for DFNA15 research

The Tao Lab receives $1.7M NIH funds to investigate the transcription regulation of POU4F3 gene and the molecular pathogenesis of DFNA15 caused by POU4F3 haploinsufficiency. With this support, the Tao lab will also explore new gene therapy strategies utilizing POU4F3 distal enhancers.
